Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit a consultation request, we collect your name, email, telephone, and message. If you are a client of The Vault, we hold the particulars you maintain there (such as salutation, full name, contact email, telephone, address, nationality, preferred language, contact preference, and any notes to your advisor), together with the messages and any documents you exchange with us.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website or sign in, we record your IP address, an approximate location derived from that IP address (city, region, and country level — not a precise address), your browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of visits and sign-ins. We use this for security, to detect misuse, and to understand how our services are used.
Credentials. Access codes and passwords are stored only by our authentication provider in hashed form. We never store them in plain text and cannot retrieve them; they can only be reset.
How we use information
We use personal information to provide and secure The Vault and our advisory services, to respond to enquiries, to communicate with you, to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of our systems, and to comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf: hosting, database and authentication (Supabase), transactional email (Resend), infrastructure and content delivery (Cloudflare), and IP geolocation (ip-api.com). We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, or to protect our rights.
International transfers
We operate between the United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong, and our providers may process data in other jurisdictions. Where information is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this policy.
Retention
We keep personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and maintain our relationship with you, and thereafter as required to meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations.
Security
Access to client data is restricted by role and protected at the database level; credentials are hashed; and data is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, but we work to protect your information using appropriate measures.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law — including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance — you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and may object to or restrict certain processing. Our services are intended for adults and are not directed at anyone under the age of 18.
